Volunteer Opportunities

GACRAO is only as strong as its members, so we'd love your help! Check out the opportunities below and consider volunteering throughout the year.

Conference Committee (Program Planning) - Will assist with aspects of the annual conference including session selection and scheduling, programming, and more.
Conference Committee (Conference Support) - Will assist with aspects of the annual conference including registration, hospitality, directions, and more.
Professional Opportunity & Advancement (POA) Committee – Supports member growth and engagement by identifying professional development opportunities and leading POA-related programming. The committee also oversees the POA scholarship, which provides financial assistance for engaged members, including those involved in G-REP and GISEM, to attend the annual conference.
Programming & Professional Development Committee - This committee will work on programming throughout the year, including assisting with Mid-Year workshop and planning virtual and in-person development opportunities.
New Professionals Committee - Will assist in planning the new professionals programming at the annual conference and will help provide professional development information/support throughout the year for those new to our profession.
Newsletter & Communication Committee - This group will help curate our monthly newsletters and will assist with special communication initiatives.
Social Media Team - This group will help with content creation, posting, and engagement through our existing and potential social media channels.
